One of the big questions

Isn’t it true that one of the biggest questions, and purposes of VET is to provide the right skills at the right time?  Would you like to join an international discussion on this topic?  The discussion:  Providing the right skills at the right time:  the role of sectoral skills development in contributing to productive and competitive economics is going on right now.  Under the auspices of the UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET eForum, I am sure many of the AVETRA Educator Hub’s members will be interested in the international views, as well as contributing to the discussion from their own perspective.

Join in the discussion now and maybe we will all get some new insights into this important topic.

International Research into Return on Investment for TVET

Phil Loveder and John Stanwick from NCVER have just released an interesting report building on their NCVER work on ROI in TVET.  This report, Measuring the Return on Investment in TVET brings an international perspective (and very international at that) on this issue.  The report is the result of a UNESCO-UNEVOC online forum held earlier this year.  I particularly like Figure One which captures well the benefits of vocational education and training.
